Also written h. An alcove *tokonoma ̊, with three sides and the wall posts completely covered with plaster to form rounded corners. The *CHADOU SENTEI ⣒, written by Inagaki Kyuusou _x states that two walls, the posts and even the ceilings were plastered, and that Sen Rikyuu 痘x (1522-91) favored this style. Myoukian Taian ҈ in Kyoto is cited as a representative example. However, the *SEKISHUU SANBYAKUKAJOU ΏBOS (late 17c) states clearly that the nurimawashidoko has a visible boarded ceiling.
