As a rule, the fire box is positioned within the 1/2 mat bordered by the host's mat, *temaedatami “_‘Oτ, and surrounded by three guests' mats. This is also known as a *dero o˜F, a firebox not placed within the area of the host's mat. Yojouhangiri can be positioned in both a normal position *hongatte –{ŸŽθ, and in a reverse position *gyakugatte ‹tŸŽθ.
