Shared Growth Seminar

  • Shared Growth Seminar #13

Rural and Urban Poor Communities - December 17, 2010 Brief Description of Seminar Content This seminar focuses on poor communities in both the rural and urban sectors of the Philippines, as part of this series‛ ongoing research and advocacy on shared growth. Being collective institutions, communities are natural mechanisms of sharing. What is less clear, however, is how communities contribute or not contribute to growth. This seminar hopes to provide some insights into this issue, which could then be the basis of future policy-oriented research work.
