Also called ottate daruki 追立垂木, munashita ogamidaruki 棟下拝垂木, shigaya daruki 枝茅垂木, shinkai daruki 神階垂木. Fly rafters. Decorative rafters on a gable barge course *keraba 螻羽. They generally have a steep pitch and extend from the ridge *munagi 棟木, to the purlin *moyageta 母屋桁, attached to the lower inside part of the bargeboards *hafu 破風.
