| A roofed corridor or passageway that connects one strucuture to another. It may also encompass an open area. There are several kinds of rou named according to function, construction and style: *kairou τL (a single or double passageway); *horou ΰL (a corridor); sukirou §L (a passageway open on both sides); watarou nL (a connection corridor), *chuumonrou εL (a middle gate corridor); *hashirou ΄L (a bridge causeway); and *youkurou L (wing corridors). This last type extends out from the *Chuudou ° at the Byoudouin *Hououdou ½@P°. | ||||||
