Lit. boat shape. A type of functional or decorative water basin *chouzubachi 手水鉢, which utilizes a natural stone shaped like a boat. The major difference between fune-ishi 舟石 in dry gardens and funagata chouzubachi is the shallow waterpool carved into the top of the waterbasin.
