The 6th Asia Future Conference has been postponed to 2022. Because of the prolonged effects of COVID-19, the conference will be held both in-person and online (Zoom) in a hybrid format.

Reception and Best Paper Awards Ceremony |
- The Welcome Party, Closing Party and Study Tour will be cancelled. For those attending in person, a reception will be held after the keynote speech and symposium.
- For papers not eligible for AFC scholarship and Best Paper awards, the deadlines for submission of abstracts for papers (February 28) and online submission of papers (PDF upload) (May 31) remain unchanged.
- You will be asked to choose whether to give an oral presentation of your paper at the venue (in-person) or online. A guide for the presentation will be available on the AFC website by the time registration opens.
- Registration as participants for the presenters will be accepted through the AFC online system from April 10 to June 20, 2022.
- The registration fee for presenters is US$50. Payment can be made at the time of registration through the AFC online system, either by PayPal or by bank transfer to a bank account in Taiwan or Japan.
- If the quarantine requirement at the time of entry into Taiwan is eased, it will become possible to attend the conference in Taiwan. We will make hotel arrangements for you during the conference, but you will need to pay for your accommodation (AFC Best Paper Award, Scholarship, and Special Subsidy recipients will be subsidized for their accommodation expenses). In addition, please shoulder any quarantine related expenses (PCR test fee, accommodation fee during the quarantine period, etc.) at the time of entry/exit.
- AFC#6A&B Scholarship/Special Subsidy and Best Paper Award recipients who are unable to attend the 6th Asia Future Conference in person due to COVID-19 will be invited to attend a future Asia Future Conference in person under the same conditions.

3. Accommodation
We can arrange for accommodation for the duration of the conference. Payment should be made directly to the hotel. Please contact the AFC Secretariat if you would like us to arrange accommodation for you. Accommodation costs (2 nights) for recipients of the AFC#6 Best Paper Award/Scholarships/Special Subsidies will be covered by the AFC.
4. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations received on or before June 20, 2022, will not incur any fees.
- Cancellations received between June 21 and July 26, 2022, will incur a 50% fee.
- Cancellations received on or after July 27, 2022, will not be eligible for a refund.
- All cancellations must be made in writing to the AFC Secretariat at [email protected].

Publication of AFC#6B Best Papers Collection |
* As the 6th Asia Future Conference was postponed by one year because of COVID-19, there have been two periods of submission for papers and scholarship/Best Paper applications. The submission period for AFC#6A ended on September 20, 2020, and for AFC#6B on September 20, 2021. Abstracts submitted by these two respective deadlines were considered for scholarships and AFC Best Paper Awards. Scholarships for AFC#6A were announced in January 2021, and the recipients of the AFC#6A Best Paper Awards (20 papers) were announced in June 2021, with the recipients presenting their work at the Pre-conference held in August of the same year. The deadline for abstracts for AFC#6B has already passed, and scholarship recipients will be announced in January 2022, and AFC#6B Best Paper Award (20 papers) recipients will be announced in June 2022.

- 論文の口頭発表は、会場での発表かオンラインでの発表か、をお選びいただきます。論文発表者用のガイドを登録開始時までにAFCホームページで公開します。
- 論文発表者の参加登録は2022年4月10日から6月20日までAFCオンラインシステムで受け付けます。
- 論文発表者の登録費はUS$50です。早期割引はありません。AFCオンラインシステムで登録時にお支払いただきます。PayPalによる支払いか、台湾か日本の銀行口座への振り込みをお選びいただきます。
- 今後台湾入国時の検疫が緩和された場合には台湾会場での参加は可能です。AFCで会議開催期間中のホテルの宿泊を手配できますが宿泊費は直接ホテルにお支払ください。AFC優秀論文賞・奨学金・特別補助金受給者の宿泊費は補助されます。出入国時の検疫に関する費用（PCR検査費、隔離期間中の滞在費等）は自分で負担してください。
- AFC#6AとBの奨学金・特別補助金と優秀論文賞の受給者が、今回コロナ禍のために第6回アジア未来会議に会場参加できない場合、今後のアジア未来会議に同じ条件で招待されます。

3. 滞在
AFCで会議開催期間中のホテルの宿泊を手配できますが宿泊費は直接ホテルにお支払ください。ご希望の方は、AFC事務局へご連絡ください。AFC優秀論文賞・奨学金・特別補助金受給者の宿泊費（前日と当日の2泊分）は補助されます。
4. キャンセル
- 参加費を納入後、2022年6月20日まではキャンセル料がかかりません。
- 2022年6月21日から7月26日までは、50％のキャンセル料がかかります。
- 2022年7月27日以後は100％のキャンセル料がかかります。
- キャンセルは必ずEメールで、アジア未来会議事務局（[email protected]）へお知らせください。

※第6回アジア未来会議は新型コロナウイルスのパンデミックで１年延期されたため、論文募集と奨学金および優秀論文の選考を2回実施しています。AFC#6Aは2020年9月20日まで、AFC#6Bは2021年9月20日までに発表要旨の投稿があった論文を対象に、それぞれ奨学金、特別補助金と優秀論文がAFC学術委員会によって選考されます。AFC#6A奨学金と特別補助金は2021年1月に、AFC#6A優秀論文（20篇）は2021年6月に決定し8月のプレカンファランス（オンライン）で口頭発表が行われました。AFC#6Bの論文募集は既に締め切られ、AFC#6B奨学金は2022年1月、AFC#6B優秀論文（20篇）は2022年6月に選考結果を発表します。

- 停止辦理歡迎晚會、閉幕晚會、參訪行程。將為會場參加成員於主題演講與座談會後舉辦晚宴。
- 一般論文（AFC獎學金與優秀論文為對象外）的發表摘要投稿截止日期（2月28日）與論文的線上投稿（上傳PDF檔案）的截止日期（5月31日）仍維持不變。

- 若今後台灣入國時的檢疫有所緩和，可於台灣會場參加。AFC會議舉辦期間可提供旅館住宿安排，住宿費用請直接向旅館支付。僅以AFC優秀論文獎・獎學金・特別補助金領取者為對象提供住宿費。以及，出入境檢疫相關費用（PCR檢查費、隔離期間的居留費用等）請自行負擔。

3. 住宿

４．取消
報名費繳納後，於2022年6月20日前取消，不收取手續費。
2022年6月21日～7月26日取消，收取50%手續費。

※第六屆亞洲未來會議因新冠肺炎大肆流行而延期一年，分別進行兩次論文募集與獎學金以及優秀論文的甄選。AFC#6A與AFC#6B分別以2020年9月20日為期限，2021年9月20日為期限的發表摘要的投稿論文為對象，各自由AFC學術委員會甄選出獎學金、特別補助金、優秀論文獎。AFC#6A獎學金與特別補助金名單，於2021年1月決議，於2021年6月選出AFC#6A優秀論文（20篇），在8月的事前會議（線上）進行口頭發表。AFC#6B的論文募集已經截止，AFC#6B獎學金名單於2022年1月決議，AFC#6B優秀論文（20篇）於2022年6月公布甄選結果。
