Also gyakurengashira ‹t˜@“ͺ. A type of carved decoration found on the tops of newel posts kouran oyabashira ‚—“e’Œ of Zen style *zenshuuyou ‘T@—l, railings. Its shape resembles a silk-floss bundle tied at the centre *yuiwata Œ‹–Θ, or an upside-down lotus blossom *gyakuren ‹t˜@. Posts decorated in this way are known as gyakurenbashira ‹t˜@’Œ.
