hikichigai 引違

Also hikichigaido 引違戸. Doors that have two or more translucent screens *shouji 障子, or opaque ones *fusuma 襖, that slide horizontally along tracks so that when they are closed the stiles overlap. If the doors are latticed they are called hikichigai-no-koushido 引違の格子戸.
