usumoributa　薄盛蓋

A lid with a high center used for a tea ceremony kettle *chanoyugama 茶湯釜. However, a usumoributa center is lower than the high center of the moributa 盛蓋 type lid. According to *CHADOU SENTEI 茶道筌蹄 (1816), it was suitable for a kettle with a bulging bottom called shiriharigama 尻張釜.
