urajirodo　裏白戸

Also called urajiro 裏白. Type of doors used for storage buildings *dozou 土蔵. A sliding wooden door that is coated with plaster on the front side for fire prevention. It is placed between the thick, heavily plastered, entrance doors and a door that is boarded up to about hip-level, koshi-itabari 腰板張, and latticed from hip-level to the top.
