Tonoko was mixed with laquer to make *sabi-urushi K½ which was used as a primer *kataji dn on masks, and to build up laquer surfaces for modeling in relief takamakie ͺG. Tonoko mixed with animal glue *nikawa δP was also painted onto statues to make a *doroji Dn before applying colors. | ||||||
