Lit. poem-slip *tanzaku ’Zϋ format. A size of *ukiyo-e •‚’ŠG print often used by Utagawa Hiroshige ‰ΜμLd (also known as Andou Hiroshige ˆΐ“‘Ld; 1797-1858) for his landscape or bird-and-flower prints. Four variations of tanzakuban exist.
1@Ootanzakuban ‘ε’Zϋ”». Also read daitanzakuban. A vertically cut 1/3 sheet of an *oobousho ‘ε•ς‘ sheet, approximately 39 X 17.5 cm. When used for *surimono  •¨, it was called shikishiban jouge nimaitsugi FŽ†”»γ‰Ί“ρ–‡Œp (two, vertically joined *shikishiban FŽ†”»), because its size is the same as two sheets of the poem card format. When used (though very rarely) in *beni-e gŠG in 1750s, it was called oohosoban ‘εΧ”».
2@ Chuutanzakuban ’†’Zϋ”». A vertically cut quarter piece of oobousho paper, approximately 39 X 12 cm.
3@ Kotanzakuban ¬’Zϋ”». Also called hosotanzakuban Χ’Zϋ”». A vertically cut piece of 1/8 of an oobousho sheet, approximately 39 X 6 cm.
4@ Aitanzakuban ŠΤ’Zϋ”». A vertically cut quarter piece of an *kobousho ¬•ς‘ sheet, approximately 33 X 11.5 cm. @
