sannojikuzushi 　三の字崩

A type of decorative pattern used for muntins on transoms *ranma 欄間. The design consists of alternating sets of three parallel straight lines, and is based on the character 三 san. A diagonal version of the same design is called kakubishi sannojikuzushi 角菱三の字崩.
