A stone pagoda with an egg-shaped main body placed directly on a base. It differs from the *muhoutou –³–D“ƒ in not having a shaft with seat and cup-like, lotus petal form into which the egg-shape is placed. Instead it sits on top of stylized lotus base. Example: Sangen-in Kaisan Rantou ŽOŒΊ‰@ŠJŽR—‘“ƒ (Muromachi period) Kyoto.
