Also *haiden 拝殿. A worship hall for Shinto shrine visitors. The plan resembles a Buddhist temple hall. Examples: Yasaka Jinja 八坂神社 (Edo period) and Kitano Tenmanguu 北野天満宮 (1607), both in Kyoto.
