koukenza　後見座

The place on a noh stage *noubutai 能舞台 where the kouken 後見, assistants clad in black, are positioned during a no performance. It is part of the atoza 後座, the corner near the pillar, called *koukenbashira 後見柱, and the boundary between the end of the entrance bridge hashigakari 橋掛, to the stage.
