kirishitan dourou　キリシタン灯籠

Lit. A Christian lantern. A lantern with carved designs of Christian figures were influenced by the early Christians in 16c Japan. Identical in form to *oribe dourou 織部灯籠. One example remain at Gekkeiji 月桂寺 in Tokyo.
