jisumigi　地隅木

A base hip rafter found at the corners of a roof. Ordinary rafters *jidaruki 地垂木 are set parallel to each other. When they reach the base hip rafters, they remain parallel but become shorter as they are attached along the hip rafters until they reach the ends.
