The Ten Greatest Ancient Sculptors of noh masks *noumen ”\–Κ, as rated in KAMENFU ‰Ό–Κ•ˆ (The Genealogy of Masks) published by Kita Konou Šμ‘½ŒΓ”\ in 1797. The sculptors are Nikkou “ϊŒυ, Miroku –νθΣ, Yasha –鍳, Bunzou •Ά‘ , Tatsuemon —΄‰E‰q–ε, Shakuzuru Τ’ί, Himi •XŒ© (“ϊ•X), Echi ‰z’q, Kouji ¬‹, and Tokuwaka “ΏŽα. The names slightly vary between manuscripts, and Sankoubou ŽOŒυ–V is sometimes included instead of Tokuwaka. Jissaku are said to be the next rank to Shinsaku _μ (The Divine Sculptors) and to be followed by rokusaku ˜Zμ (The Six Greatest Ancient Sculptors); Zouami ‘ˆ’–ν, Fukurai •Ÿ—ˆ (? Ishiouhyoue Ξ‰€•Ί‰q), Haruwaka tŽα, Hourai •σ—ˆ, Chigusa ηŽν, Sankoubou ŽOŒυ–V.
