These events have not only affected the external conditions of how we live, but also permanently<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">affected how we perceive the world and others, as well as left deep emotional impri<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">nts.<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page3R_mcid20\" class=\"markedContent\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"page3R_mcid20\" class=\"markedContent\"><br role=\"presentation\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">In this roundtable session we try and take stock of what has happened over the last few years and have a<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">frank discussion about the side we often neglect to discuss<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">\u2013<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">the emotional and individual, internal aspects of<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">these issues. With presentations<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">from Indonesia, the Philippines and Japan, this roundtable seeks to<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">understand how recent events have impacted us mentally and emotionally, as well as the support systems<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">and methods in place for people to cope with the reality we are now faced with.
