- If you do not stay for 4 nights, the fee will be adjusted according to the actual days of stay only if notified to AFC Secretariat by June 30, 2016.
- There is no early bird discount for the Accommodation Fee.
4. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations received on or before June 30, 2016 will not incur any fee.
- Cancellations received after July 1, 2016 and before August 31, 2016 will incur a 50% fee.
- Cancellations received on or after September 2016 will not be eligible for a refund.
- All cancellations must be made in writing to the AFC Secretariat at [email protected].
5. Study Tours and Excursions
Study Tours and Excursions will be held on Sunday, October 2, 2016. Several optional tours of half day, full day or overnight trip with the themes of environment issues, Japanese art and culture, etc. will be organized. When you register, you will select and pay the fee. Optional program will be announced on the AFC website by December 20, 2015.
6. Scholarship for “Promising” Scholars
- Scholarship grant of ¥40,000 for each scholar of the selected 50 “promising” researchers will be available on an application basis after acceptance of abstracts of full papers. The AFC Academic Committee will announce the selection results via emails to the applicants by December 20, 2015.
- The scholarship grant of selected researcher/s who fail to submit full papers on or before March 31, 2016 will be automatically cancelled. Short papers are not eligible for this scholarship.
- Local participants are not eligible for this scholarship.
- The scholarship grant will be provided in cash (Japanese yen) at the conference, so every scholarship recipient has to register and pay the required registration fees first.

- 滞在費の早期割引はありません。
4. キャンセル
- 参加費を納入後、2016年6月30日まではキャンセル料がかかりません。
- 2016年6月30日から8月31日までは、50％のキャンセル料がかかります。
- 2016年9月１日以後は100％のキャンセル料がかかります。
- キャンセルは必ず書面で、アジア未来会議事務局（[email protected]）へお知らせください。
5. 見学会・スタディツアー
2016年10月2日（日）に実施します。環境問題の取り組みや日本の芸術文化を見学する半日、１日、あるいは１泊２日のコースをご用意する予定です。参加登録時にコースを選択して、参加費をお支払いいただきます。コースは、2015年12月20日までにAFCホームページで発表します。
6. 将来有望な研究者のための補助金
- 論文（フルペーパー）の発表要旨の合格者を対象に、将来有望な研究者50人のための、申請に基づく奨学金（ひとり40,000円）を用意します。学術委員会による選考結果は2015年12月20日までにメールで申請者に通知します。
- 2016年3月３１日までに論文が投稿されない場合には辞退とみなします。小論文は対象外です。
- 地元の参加者は対象外です。
- 奨学金は、アジア未来会議当日に現金（日本円）でお渡しします。従って、奨学金受給者は参加登録時に登録費を納入していただく必要があります。奨学金と登録費との相殺はできません。
- 優秀賞については論文募集要項をご参照ください。
