yukimi shouji　雪見障子

Also called *agesage shouji 上下障子 (up and down shouji). Lit. snow viewing *shouji 障子. A type of *akarishouji 明障子, translucent paper which covers a frame, the lower half of which moves up and down. These shouji do not slide from side to side. Usually, a transparent glass window is placed on the exterior side. Similar to *nekoma shouji 猫間障子.
