Also called soribashi ”½‹΄. An arched bridge made of stone or wood. One example is the Yoka Jinja —^‰κ_ŽΠ (1607), in Saga prefecture. It is a stone bridge supported by six stone posts on each side and has a high railing on each side with an onion-shaped top on one of the posts, *giboushu ‹[•σŽμ.
