Also called tsurimoto ’έŒ³, jikumotokamachi Ž²Œ³žy. The stile, tatekamachi cžy of a door or gate that is connected to a pillar by a pivot hinge *jikuzuri Ž²’έ. The opposite side of the door is called *tesaki Žθζ, where the handle is placed to pull the door or gate open.
