Also written ’έ•Η. A narrow wall suspended from a ceiling to form the front and side of a boundary for an alcove set in the corner of a tearoom. Such an alcove *tsuridoko ’ޏ° has no other structural demarcations to set it apart from the rest of the room but does not have a hanging scroll, fan, for decoration. The tsuribake has hanging struts tsurizuka ’έ‘© where its two parts join the wall and the outer corner. A slender piece of horizontal trim *otoshigake —ŽŠ| is stretched along the bottom between the two hanging struts tsurizuka.
