Also called tobiradoori ”ΰ’Κ. The alignment of gate pillars *hashira ’Œ, and the tie beam *nuki ŠΡ, in a straight line. The gate doors are placed along this line. Posts placed in front and /or behind the aligned gate pillars and are attached to them at angles of 90°or 45° are called *hikaebashira T’Œ. These posts stabilize and sustain the line of gate pillars.
