tatedoi 竪樋

Also called tatsudoi 立樋. A cylindrical or square drain pipe that allows rain water to flow from the rain gutters *amadoi 雨樋 to the ground. Some are made of bamboo or twisted palm ropes; other are made of copper or iron.
