Soto-sakuradamon 外桜田門

Also called Sakuradamon 桜田門. An entrance gate constructed 1664 at Edojou 江戸城 in Tokyo that preserves its original square shape *masugata 桝形. It is located opposite the gate called kikyoumon 桔梗門, which is also called Uchi-sakuradamon 内桜田門 (the inner Sakuradamon). It is constructed in the same style as *kouraimon 高麗門.
