A measure of height for a Buddhist statue based on shuujaku 周尺, a unit of measure used in the Zhou dynasty China (1 shuujaku = 23.5 cm). The height of a seated shuujouroku image is about 182 cm and of a standing image, 392cm. This is said to be the actual height of Buddha in life. A Buddhist image of this size is called shuujouroku zou 周丈六像 or shuujouroku butsu 周丈六仏, but often abbreviated to jouroku 丈六.
