Also written Ž‡άŒΛ. Lit. broken branch door. A type of wicket *kido –ΨŒΛ used at the entrance to the inner tea garden *uchiroji “ΰ˜I’n. It is a simple hinged door made of bent and split green bamboo woven into a diamond shape and tied with bracken rope. The door is suspended between two log posts, and usually hung about 15cm above the ground. The shiorido closely resembles the sunokodo βŎqŒΛ. It is also confused with the raised lattice door *agesudo —gβŌΛ; the terms are used interchangeably by Akisato Ritou H—’βί“‡ in TSUKIYAMA TEIZOUDEN ’zŽR’λ‘’“`.
