shinzori 真反

Also read shisori or also souzori 総反. An eave that curves gradually upward from its mid point towards the ends. The degree of curvature is dictated by the flying rafter support *kioi 木負, and the eave support *kayaoi 茅負. If the central edges of the flying rafter and eave supports are straight and curve up only toward the corners, the eave is called *naginatazori 長刀反.
