Lit. Saimyouji Ό–ΎŽ› style latticed bamboo door. One type of raised lattice door *agesudo —gβΕŒΛ found in a tea garden *roji ˜I’n, usually at the base of a hillpath. Typically about 3 shaku ŽΪ high and 2 shaku wide, it is a latticed bamboo door *shiorido Ž}άŒΛ with a rounded rather than rectilinear frame. In ISHIGUMI SONOU YAEGAKIDEN Ξ‘g‰€Ά”ͺdŠ_“` (1827) by Akisato Ritou H—’βί“‡, this type of agesudo is called saimyouji shiorido.
