nousashoutou 能作生塔

A miniature pagoda in a bowl or rotund bottle shape. The pagoda is made of gilt bronze *kondou 金銅, and is used to enshrine thirty-two grains *nyoi houju 如意宝珠 (wishful-filling gems). The only extant nousashoutou is owned by Choufukuji 長福寺 in Nara, and is dated from the Kamakura period.
