A decorative gable pendant *gegyo 懸魚 covering the ends of purlins in a gable roof *kirizuma yane 切妻屋根. Decorated with a symmetrical three-fold pattern around the base *mitsubana gegyo 三花懸魚, and sculpted fins *hire 鰭 to the left and right.
