Translucent sliding screens *shouji 障子, opaque screens *fusuma 襖, or wooden sliding doors, itado 板戸, that exceed a width of 0.9m. Average sized shouji are 0.9m×1.80m high. Oversized sliding screens are usually 1.20m〜1.35m wide. Two single shouji of 1.35m, width are used to fit a space of 2.70m, equal to three normal sized shouji.
