mabaradaruki 疎垂木
KEY WORD : architecture / general terms
 
Widely spaced rafters, 30〜45cm. A more closely spaced arrangement is called *hanshige daruki 半繁垂木 and the closest formation is called *shigedaruki 繁垂木. Even wider spacing of rafters than mabaradaruki is called makubari daruki 間配垂木 or oomabara daruki 大疎垂木.
