korobashineda 転ばし根太

Also called umeneda 埋め根太. Sleepers placed directly on the ground or cement floor without using joints or struts. Sometimes sleepers can be laid on cement blocks or large rocks. A floor laid on korobashineda is called korobashineda yuka 転ばし根太床. There is no other sub-floor framework.
