kojiri 木尻

Also written 木後; 鐺. Also called hafujiri 破風尻. The bottom end of a bargeboard *hafu 破風 or a cantilever *hanegi 桔木. Originally, it was a generic term used to refer to the ends of all boards. If the term is written 鐺, it refers to metal fittings at the ends of rafters called tarukihashi kanagu 垂木端金具.
