Lit. piece of tile knocking against the gate. A handbook on the Sen 千 family, tea ceremony, written by Fujii Iseki 藤井維石 and published in one volume in 1843. The handbook touches on a wide range of tea ceremony subjects including: flower arrangement; entrance procedure; entrance pledges and transmissions; the implements used; history; and a description of the seven types of tea ceremony, shichijishiki 七事式.
