kan'unjoku 寒雲卓

A type of pitcher shelf *mizusashidana 水指棚. A version of the kan'undana 寒雲棚 favoured by tea master Gengensai 玄々斎, it was reduced in size by tea master Ennousai 円能斎. This type of shelf is constructed in the *wabi わび style. It has four posts made of red pine with the bark left on、and two shelves made of red cedar, with the grain showing kiji 木地.
