jutai　綬帯

A general term for any ornamental band of cloth found on a bodhisattvas *bosatsu 菩薩 and deva *ten 天 image. Jutai include the ribbons which hang from the sides of the crown tenkantai 天冠帯, the sash tied around the waist sekitai 石帯, and the decorative scarf *tenne天衣.
