Also called honshirin –{Žx—Φ (main shirin). A short, curved, non-supporting transitional member that connects diagonal beams that are positioned at different levels. The most generally used *shirin Žx—Φ, they are very closely spaced suggesting the curved shape of a snake's belly. Jabara shirin are wayou style *wayou ˜a—l structural elements. Example: Myououin Hondou Naijin –Ύ‰€‰@–{“°“ΰw (1321), Hiroshima prefecture.
