Also called *jikubu 軸部. The skeletal framework of a building. This framework includes; floor joists *neda 根太, studs *mabashira 間柱, posts or pillars *hashira 柱, purlins *keta 桁, transverse beams *hari 梁, struts *tsuka 束, roof truss *koyagumi 小屋組, tie beams *koyabari 小屋梁, etc.
