Also 辮髪. A long rope of hair hanging down the left side of the face and the left shoulder of a sculpted figure. Characteristic of *Fudou Myouou 不動明王 images. A good example is the 9c, wood figure of a seated Fudou Myouou in the Lecture hall Koudou 講堂 of Touji 東寺 (Kyouougokokuji 教王護国寺) in Kyoto.
