奨学金と優秀賞
アジア未来会議では、多くの方々に参加していただくために、下記の通り、優秀賞、奨学金、特別補助金を提供します。
A: 優秀論文賞
– 2019年7月31日までに投稿された論文を対象に、20篇の優秀論文がAFC学術委員会によって選出されます。論文投稿の前提として、その発表要旨を2019年1月20日（改訂）までに投稿し、それが採択されなければなりません。
– 優秀論文の執筆者又は執筆グループの代表者１名は、登録費と滞在費（相部屋）が全額免除され、賞状、記念品と、副賞（$300）が贈られます。（登録費と滞在費が納入済みの場合は、会議場にて返金します）
– 論文は会議の後に出版される優秀論文集「私の提案：アジアの未来へ－私の提案Vol.5」に収録されます。
– 今までにAFC優秀論文賞を受賞した方は対象外となりますので、あらかじめご了承ください。
＊選考の方針
期日通りに投稿・採択された論文は、次の5つの指針に沿って審査されます。また、投稿規定に反するものはマイナス点になります。
1 論文のテーマが会議のテーマ「持続的な共有型成長：みんなの故郷、みんなの幸福」と適合しているか。
2 わかりやすく説得力があるか。
3 独自性と革新性があるか。
4 国際性があるか。
5 学際性があるか
B: 優秀発表賞、および優秀ポスター/展示賞
– 優秀発表賞は、アジア未来会議の分科会の各セッションで、座長から推薦を受けた１名に授与されます。
– 優秀発表賞の審査が行われるのは一般セッションと学生セッションのみで、グループセッションは該当しません。
– 優秀ポスター/展示賞は、AFC学術委員会によって審査が行われ、全応募ポスター/展示の約10％に授与します。
– 優秀発表賞と優秀ポスター/展示賞の受賞者には、賞状と記念品を贈呈します。
C: AFC奨学金
– 応募者の中から選ばれた50名の「将来有望な」研究者に対して、登録費と滞在費（相部屋）を全額免除するAFC奨学金を提供します。
– 希望者は、2019年1月20日（改訂）までに発表要旨（abstract）をオンライン投稿してください。発表要旨の合格通知の中に、奨学金の申し込み案内が含まれています。奨学金の希望者は、その案内に従って申し込みをしてください。AFC奨学金の選考結果は、2019年5月31日までに応募者全員に通知されます。
– AFC奨学金に合格しても2019年7月31日までに論文のオンライン投稿がない場合は、アジア未来会議における発表を辞退したと見なされますのでご注意ください。
– 小論文とポスター/展示発表は、AFC奨学金の選考対象にはなりません。
D: AFC特別補助金（対象国：インドネシア、ベトナム、タイ、台湾）
– 指定寄附によるAFC特別補助金は、上記4カ国の国籍を有し、その国に居住する研究者が対象となります。インドネシアと台湾は各10名、ベトナムとタイは5名に授与されます。
– AFC特別補助金合格者は、録費と滞在費（相部屋）を全額補助します。また、現金$300の補助を会議場で支給します。
– AFC特別補助金の申請受付と選考はAFC奨学金とは別に各国で行われます。
– 今までにAFC特別補助金を受給した方は対象外となります。また、AFC特別補助金の受給者は、AFC奨学金を受けられません。

AFC#5 Special Subsidy Application
E: AFC#5フィリピン特別補助金
– 指定寄附によるAFC#5フィリピン特別補助金は、フィリピンの国籍を有し、フィリピン国内に居住する研究者が対象となり、50名に授与されます。
– AFC#5フィリピン特別補助金は、登録費と滞在費（相部屋）、フィリピンの各地方からの交通費を補助します。
– AFC#5フィリピン特別補助金の申請受付と選考はAFC奨学金とは別にフィリピンの実行委員会で行われます。
– 今までにAFC特別補助金を受給した方は対象外となります。また、AFC#5フィリピン特別補助金の受給者は、AFC奨学金を受けられません。

AFC#5 Philippine Special Subsidy Application
F: ラクーン奨学金とラクーン・グループセッション補助金（元渥美奨学生対象）
– ラクーン会員を対象とするラクーン奨学金とラクーン・グループセッション補助金については別途案内されます。

Scholarships and Awards
The Asia Future Conference is pleased to announce that we have the following awards, scholarships and special subsidies available.
A: Best Paper Awards
– The Best Paper Awards will be given to 20 papers selected by the AFC Academic Committee from the full papers submitted before July 31, 2019. Abstracts of these papers must be submitted before January 20 (revised), 2019 and accepted for presentation.
– An award certificate, souvenir, and $300 prize will be given to the author or a representative of the author group, whose registration and accommodation (shared room) fees will be subsidized. (If the author or a representative of the author group has paid the registration and accommodation fees before the Best Paper Awards recipients are announced, they will be refunded at the conference venue.)
– Best Papers will be included in the edited volume “Toward the Future of Asia: My Proposal Vol.5” to be published after the Conference.
– Those who have been awarded AFC Best Paper Awards in the past are not eligible.
＊Best Paper Selection Policies
Submitted full papers will be evaluated based on the following 5 criteria. Minus points will be given if a paper does not follow the Paper Format Guide.
1. Does this paper contribute to the AFC? Is the theme of this paper in accordance with the AFC#5 Theme “Sustainable Shared Growth: Our Common Home and Happiness”?
2. Is this paper perspicuous and persuasive?
3. Is this paper original and innovative?
4. Does this paper hold international aspects in some points?
5. Does this paper have an interdisciplinary approach?
B: Best Presentation and Best Poster/Exhibition Awards
– The Best Presentation Awards will be given to one presenter from each general session and each student session, based on the recommendations by session Chairs.
– There will be no Best Presentation Awards in the sessions arranged by groups of presenters.
– Best Poster/Exhibition Awards will be given to about 10% of the poster presentations and exhibitions that are selected by the AFC Academic Committee.
– An award certificate and souvenir will be given to the Best Presentation and Best Poster/Exhibition awardees.
C: AFC Scholarship
– The AFC scholarship that will waive both registration and accommodation fees (shared room) will be available on an application basis for the selected 50 “promising” researchers.
– Those who want to apply for this scholarship must submit abstracts (proposals) of their full paper before January 20 (revised), 2019. The scholarship announcement and application form will be issued to the authors with the acceptance notice. The AFC Academic Committee will send the selection results to all the applicants by May 31, 2019.
– The scholarship grant of selected researcher/s who fail to submit full papers on or before July 31, 2019 will be automatically cancelled.
– Short papers and Poster Presentation/Exhibition are not eligible for this scholarship.
D: AFC Special Subsidy (For scholars from Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, and Taiwan)
– Thanks to designated donations, AFC Special Subsidies are available for those whose nationalities are one of the above 4 countries and who live in the same country.
– The AFC Special Subsidy will waive both registration and accommodation fees (shared room) and the recipients will receive $300 in cash at the conference venue to partially cover travel cost.
– Those who have been awarded the AFC Special Subsidy in the past are not eligible.
– The recipient of AFC Special Subsidy will not be awarded an AFC Scholarship.
– The application and selection process for the Special Subsidy is different from the AFC Scholarship. The announcement for the AFC Special Subsidy can be found at the following link (not yet available):
AFC#5 Special Subsidy Application
E: AFC#5 Philippine Special Subsidy
– Thanks to designated donations, AFC#5 Philippine Special Subsidy is available for Filipino scholars who live in the Philippines.
– The AFC#5 Philippine Special Subsidy will subsidize registration and accommodation fees (shared room) as well as travel costs from local areas in the Philippines.
– Those who have been awarded the AFC Special Subsidy in the past are not eligible.
– The recipients of AFC#5 Philippine Special Subsidy will not be awarded an AFC Scholarship.
– The application and selection process for the Special Subsidy is different from the AFC Scholarship. The announcement for the AFC#5 Philippine Special Subsidy can be found from the following link (not yet available):

F: Raccoon Scholarship and Raccoon Session Subsidies (for former Atsumi Scholarship Recipients)
– Raccoon scholarships and Raccoon group-session subsidies are available for members of the Raccoon Association and will be announced separately.
