AFC - The 3rd Asia Future Conference

You can get the information about your User ID and/or Password from the Registration webpage. See the guide for a more detailed explanation.

The User Registration Number is the four-digit number that you get when you register AFC online system. This number will be used frequently when you contact AFC Secretariat or on other occasions.

You can change (revise) and add through your account on the AFC online system anytime during the application period.

“Create Account” is to open your own AFC online account on the system from where you can find the necessary information about the AFC. It also enables you to receive e-mail and other information from the AFC Secretariat.

“Participation Registration” is to inform the AFC Secretariat that you will participate in the AFC. Participation fee and accommodation fee will be charged only when you register as participant.

If you did the “Submission” and/or “Participant Registration” but for some reason cannot participate, please close your account by following the guide below for withdrawing, and contact the AFC Secretariat. We will cancel your registration.

Yes, Asia Future Conference (AFC) offers the “Scholarship for Promising Researchers” for those who applied and selected by the AFC Academic Committee in addition to the “Early Bird Discounts”. The recommendation of the AFC Academic Committee is needed for this subsidy. The “Early Bird Discount” is 20 per cent discount on the participation fee. There will be an on-line request form available after April 1, 2016. If you need them sooner, please contact the AFC Secretariat ([email protected]).

Please check your email’s “spam folder.”  In most of the cases, the email gets sent there. If you cannot find your email there, please login to and check your account of the Online system of the Asia Future Conference, using your own ID and password.

Please take the following steps when you open an account on the AFC online system. (See the guide for a more detailed explanation.)

・Please have all the members of your specific group choose the same topic(s) from “ Overview >Your Submissions>Edit Contribution Details “ when you open an account.

・Please leave a message that you would like to make one session with your specific group (names and User Regstration Numbers of the members) in “Remark / Message to the Program Committee and Chairs.”

We wil try as much as possible to comply with your wishes. But please understand that we might decide to put you in a different session, or that another presenter might join to your session.

 

 

There are two methods of payment: PayPal (credit card settlement) and bank transfer. You can view on your AFC online account the explanation for each method when you do “Participation Registration”.

It takes some days if you paid by bank transfer.

You can print out a simple version receipt through the AFC system. Please contact the AFC Secretariat if you need a more formal one.

The session schedule will be published online by August 10, 2016 and finalized by the end of the month. The session schedule and maps will be included in the Proceedings and posted at the AFC office on the site during the AFC.

Registration fee includes Proceedings, meals* and parties. You will get meal coupon when you check in the hotel.

*dinner on Sep. 29th (Thursday), all meals on Sep. 30^th (Friday) and October 1^st (Saturday), breakfast on Oct. 2^nd (Sunday) and Oct. 3rd (Monday).

No. you will receive the prize only when you attend the award presentation ceremony.

Yes. We will post the photos on the AFC website during a period of time from which you can download pictures.

You can use a bus or train from Fukuoka Airport. Please refer to the Infopack that will be published later. At the airport, AFC staff will assist you to get on your transportation. If you travel from another part of Japan, you can use the Kitakyushu Airport, from which there is a bus service.

The excursion will be held on Sunday, October 2, 2016. There will be half-day, full-day, and overnight options. You will choose one when you register as a participant, at which time you will be asked to make payment for the excursion. The options will be published online by December 20, 2015.

期間中はAFCオンラインシステムの「あなたの投稿」ページで何度でも変更・追記が可能です。

提出する論文に共著者がいる場合には、下記手順に従って共著者の情報を入力して下さい。

「新規登録」とは、AFCで必要な情報を得ることのできるシステムに、自分のページ(アカウント)を作成するため必要な登録です。この登録をすることで、事務局からのご案内メールなどの情報が届きます。
「参加登録」は、AFCに参加するか、また宿泊予約などの手続きのために必要となる登録のことです。「参加登録をして論文投稿もしたけれど、参加しない」場合は、辞退手続き（投稿論文の取り下げ(withdraw)）をご自身でするか、事務局へご連絡下さい。

招待状や出張依頼状が必要な方は、2016年4月1日以後に専用申請フォームをウェブ上に設置します。その前に必要な方は、アジア未来会議事務局( [email protected] ) までご連絡下さい。

多くの場合、受領通知メールは「迷惑メールフォルダ」に入ってしまうようです。まずは「迷惑メールフォルダ」をご確認下さい。またAFCオンラインシステムのマイページから投稿や登録情報の確認をすることができます。

同一セッション希望については、アカウント登録時にAFCオンラインシステムで次の作業をお願いします。

・「　概要 >あなたの投稿 >投稿内容を編集する　」 の トピックの選択で、メンバー全員が同じトピックを選択して下さい。

・「コメント/プログラム委員および委員長へのメッセージ」（英語版は「Remark / Message to the Program Committee and Chairs」）　で「〇〇さんと同じセッションを希望」とのコメントをそれぞれ書いて下さい。

できるだけご希望に沿うように努めますが、こちらの判断で違うセッションになったり、また他の参加者が入ることもあります。予めご了承ください。

振込み方法はPayPal（クレジットカード決済）と銀行振込の2つです。それぞれの振り込み方法や振込先は、システムで「参加登録」をする時に表示されます。どちらの振込み方法も不可能な場合はAFC事務局にご相談下さい。

分科会セッションのスケジュールは2016年8月10日までにオンラインシステム上に発表し、その後調整の上、8月末に決定します。会議中は、予稿集（Proceedings）にも掲載されますし、事務局オフィスの前に分科会セッションの部屋割りと地図を張り出しますので、併せてご利用下さい。

登録費には、食事代と懇親会費が含まれています。食事は、9/29(木)夕食、9/30(金)と10/1(土)の全食、10/2(日)と10/3(月)の朝食を提供します。詳細は、後日発行する旅の栞(INFOPACK)を参照して下さい。

表彰式にご欠席の場合は、受賞資格失効とみなします。予めご了承下さい。

会議終了後にAFCのウェブサイトで公開しますので、そちらよりダウンロードして下さい。

福岡空港からは、電車または高速バスがあります。詳細は、後日発行する「旅の栞」をご参照ください。また、福岡空港にはスタッフが待機して電車またはバスまでご案内します。日本国内便をご利用の方は、北九州空港からバスがあります。

見学会は、2016年10月2日（日）に実施します。環境問題の取り組みや日本の芸術文化を見学する半日、１日、あるいは１泊２日のコースをご用意する予定です。参加登録時にコースを選択して、参加費をお支払いいただきます。コースは、2015年12月20日までにAFCホームページで発表します。
