First Asia Future Conference Urgent Notice

Dear Conference Registrants

We will be holding the First Asia Future Conference in Bangkok City, Thailand.

The schedule would be as follows

March 7, 2013 (Thurs) (Arrival) Dinner will be provided for
March 8, 2013 (Fri) Opening Ceremony, Keynote Speech, Guest Lecture, Symposium, Welcome Party
March 9, 2013 (Sat) Guest Lecture, Symposium, Get-Together
March 10, 2013 (Sun) Roundtable Discussion, Excursion
March 11, 2013 (Mon) (Departure) Breakfast will be provided for

The official language will be Japanese and English. Other languages could be used for particular sessions, if there is consensus among the participants in those sessions.

We would like to ask your cooperation on the following points.
(1)There is no need to register again if you have done so already.
(2)We will be requesting payment of (early bird) participation fees by the middle of November (2012). We will also be processing then all participants with subsidies. This will be our basis for confirming your participation.
(3) The venue is going to be a hotel within Bangkok City. We are currently negotiating with various candidate facilities, but we will let you know as soon as decisions are made. We will be providing shuttle services to and from the airport.
(4)Please purchase airline tickets to Bangkok City. For those who have already purchased airline tickets to Shanghai, and are having problems in changing their tickets, please consult with the AFC Secretariat.
(5)The deadline for the full paper remains to be December 31, 2012.
(6)The deadline of submission of Paper Abstracts is now past, but we are now accepting proposals for Poster Presentations. The deadline for the online submission of poster presentation abstracts is December 20, 2012. There will be some subsidy to cover the registration fee for graduate students and young researchers affiliated with Thai universities, based on applications made.
(7)We are also calling for observers. The registration and board/lodging fees will be the same. Please register online.
